"I'll see you, at the spinner rack!"
I've read comics for as long as I can remember. I couldn't remember when exactly I started so I asked my father recently and he said he can't remember a time when I wasn't reading them. I would get old back issues when I would go to antique stores with my parents, the digest sized reprints at rest stops on family road trips, new books off the spinner rack at the grocery store.
When I found out there was a local comic shop where I lived it was amazing. I had no idea that those even existed, and it opened me up to so many more books I wouldn't have found otherwise. Everywhere I went I had a backpack full of comics to read and it's become a lifelong passion.
